Ken Ellsworth

Ken Ellsworth, PT

Ken is driven by the desire to help others reach their goals and to live a healthy active lifestyle. This passion is what drove him to open Carolina Orthopedic Rehab in 2007. Ken graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 and received his PT degree from Florida A&M University in 1989. He then started his career working in a private practice clinic in Florida before relocating with his young family to Hendersonville in 1994. Prior to opening Carolina Orthopedic Rehab, Ken worked as Director of Outpatient Therapy at Pardee Hospital for 13 years.

Ken's clinical focus is on manual therapy and orthopedics. His mission for Carolina Orthopedic Rehab is the delivery of physical therapy services by skilled licensed therapists in a culture committed to service excellence.

Ken has been married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle, since 1988. They have four adult children and three very active grandchildren.


Aaron Cunningham

Aaron Cunningham, PTA

Aaron originally graduated from Columbia College in Chicago where he majored in cinematography. In time his career pursuits took him to Los Angeles, CA. After spending about a decade working on a variety of film and video productions, Aaron and his wife decided to make a big change moving to Western North Carolina in 2006.

Physical fitness has always been important to Aaron, so when the time came to change career paths physical therapy was a natural choice. In 2009, Aaron graduated with honors from the PT Assistant program at South College Asheville. Shortly after graduation Aaron joined the Carolina Orthopedic Rehab team.

At Carolina Orthopedic Rehab Aaron enjoys helping his patients heal, as well as providing education for injury prevention and personal wellness. In his free time he enjoys home improvement projects, mountain biking, hiking, exercising, traveling and being a father and husband.


Kelly Hoffmaster

Kelly Hoffmaster, PTA

Kelly, a native of West Virginia, graduated from Fairmont State University in 1998. In 2001, she made the move to Hendersonville with her husband. She spent several years at Pardee Hospital working in Outpatient , Inpatient and Aquatics. She joined COR in 2008.

Kelly has experience in providing care to patients in a variety of settings and believes in a client-centered approach to care that is tailored to the unique needs and goals of her patients. When not working with clients, Kelly enjoys reading, crafts, music and spending time with family.


Tana Herring

Tana Herring, Office Manager

Tana joined Carolina Orthopedic Rehab in 2016 as the office manager. She previously worked in the medical field as a nationally certified medical coder for a surgical practice for 10 years. She is originally from South Carolina and moved to Western North Carolina with her husband Buddy and her daughter Anne Marie in 2012.

When not at work, she enjoys traveling to new places with her daughter’s volleyball travel team, hiking with her family, and visiting local nursing homes with the youth group at her church.
