About Carolina Orthopedic Rehab

Carolina Orthopedic Rehab is a physical therapist-owned practice in Laurel Park serving Henderson County residents. Our patient and physician satisfaction at COR has rated excellent sense the company began in 2006. We embrace the concept of placing patients first with low patient-volume and a focus on providing the highest quality of patient care. Our primary goal remains to improve the quality of life for our patients and return them to their prior level of activity. 

Our Staff

Ken Ellsworth

Ken graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 and Florida A & M University in 1989 with a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Ken started his career working in a private practice clinic in Florida before re-locating with family to Hendersonville, NC in 1994. Prior to opening Carolina Orthopedic Rehab in 2007 Ken worked as Director of Outpatient Therapy for Pardee Hospital for 13 years.
  Ken’s clinical focus is on manual therapy and orthopedics. His goal for Carolina Orthopedic Rehab is the delivery of skilled rehabilitation services by licensed therapists in a culture committed to service excellence. Ken has been married to his wife Michelle for 26 years and they have four children.

Aaron Cunningham

Aaron graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at South College Asheville in 2009. Before that Aaron spent a decade working as a camera operator in the film and television industry in Los Angeles, CA.
  In 2006 Aaron and his wife decided to move to Western North Carolina where he decided to completely change careers. In 2010 he joined Carolina Orthopedic Rehab where he specializes in orthopedic and work rehab therapy. He also treats many geriatric patients that have balance, core stability, and gait deficits.
  When not working he enjoys doing home improvement projects, exercising, hiking, camping and just spending time with his family.

Kelly Hoffmaster

Kelly, a native of West Virginia, graduated from Fairmont State University in 1998. She worked in a private practice clinic and Home Health.
  In 2001, she made the move to Hendersonville with her husband, where she worked for Pardee Hospital’s aquatic program. She joined Carolina Orthopedic Rehab in 2008. Her Clinical Focus is on manual therapy and massage. She is committed to providing compassionate care to obtain excellent results.
  When not at work, she enjoys reading, crafts, music, and spending time with family and friends.

Diedre Hudson
Office Manager

Deidre joined Carolina Orthopedic Rehab in October 2012. She had worked many years at Duke Energy in Billing and Customer service. She has also worked with Social Security Disability claims and most recently at Park Ridge Health.
  She is originally from Robbinsville, but lived in Franklin prior to marrying her husband Danny in 2009 and moving to Hendersonville. She has a 25 year old son. 
  When she is not working she enjoys sewing, entertaining, and relaxing with family and friends.
